About Me

Hi, I’m Lena Eggert, a Digital Designer with a strong focus on creative design, strategic thinking and data-driven optimization. With an academic background in Multimedia Marketing (B.Sc.) and Applied Media Science (M.Sc.), I have developed a solid foundation for creating visually compelling and goal-oriented digital solutions.

Over the past years, I’ve gained valuable experience in campaign planning, web development, and UI/UX design. Currently, I work at the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, where I program interactive content formats, plan content campaigns, and manage corporate websites. Previously, I expanded my expertise in social media marketing, designing ads, and enhancing corporate design strategies.

A career highlight was winning the "Best of Content Marketing Award 2024" for the "Perspectives" campaign for the client DSGV with my team, where I successfully combined my design skills with strategic planning to create impactful results.

When I’m not working on exciting projects, I enjoy exploring new design trends and incorporating them into my creative process.

Projects

Over the years, I have worked on a variety of projects that reflect my expertise in digital design, marketing and branding. Below, you’ll find a selection of key projects that showcase my skills and creative approach.

Each project represents a unique challenge and an opportunity to combine my technical skills, creative vision, and strategic thinking. Whether designing sleek interfaces, crafting compelling campaigns, or exploring innovative storytelling methods, my goal is always to deliver impactful results that resonate with the audience.

All my projects listed below were created in the course of my work at the F.A.Z. Together with project managers from 'Republic', the marketer of the F.A.Z. and the SZ, many great content campaigns were created, which are published not only in the F.A.Z. but also in the Süddeutsche Zeitung. I collaborated with a variety of clients, including Coca-Cola, Deutsche Bahn, WEMPE, and many others.

My role at Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities.  Next to my work for the 'Republic' I additionally manage internal company websites and contribute to various projects by handling both UX design and programming, ensuring seamless user experiences and technical excellence.

Genesis

The 'Perfekt bis ins Detail' campaign highlights how top chef Sarah Hallmann brings her culinary artistry to life, drawing parallels to the Genesis GV60. The campaign combines culinary excellence, precision, and design to showcase the perfection of this innovative electric vehicle in an emotionally captivating way.

DSGV

The multi-part campaign “Perspektiven - eine Serie über die wichtigsten Themen unserer Zeit” comprises several content formats that present the "Deutscher Sparkassen- und Giroverband" as a local partner for investments in the corporate energy transition. The series was honored with the “Best of Content Marketing Award 2024”.

Vitra

The two Vitra content campaigns showcase the brand’s role in shaping innovative, future-oriented workspaces. The first highlights the Grünhof coworking space, where Vitra’s design fosters community, collaboration, and flexibility. The second focuses on the new headquarters for HF Mixing Group, blending tradition with modern design to create an inspiring and dynamic work environment. My role involved designing and programming both websites, ensuring they effectively represented these inspiring projects and their values.

As part of my master's thesis, I developed a completely new corporate identity for the cleaning product company 'Obenland.' This comprehensive project included the creation of a new corporate design, a redesigned website, and a marketing strategy grounded in extensive analysis. Additionally, I modernized the product packaging and optimized distribution channels and points of sale to enhance the brand's market presence and customer reach.

Masters thesis

KIA

I developed two campaigns for Kia that showcased the brand’s innovative spirit: one blending art and technology with the EV6, and the other promoting sustainable fleet solutions for businesses. Both campaigns reinforced Kia’s commitment to sustainability and forward-thinking mobility.

Uniqlo

For UNIQLO's 'Modern Layering' campaign featured in the SZ Magazin, I contributed to the creative concept and execution of the interactive storytelling. A standout element was the innovative card effect, which brought the versatility and functionality of the collection to life in a visually compelling digital format. My role focused on blending modern design with a clear brand message to showcase the collection in a stylish and user-centered way.
